Yes. Rinse with clean water for a few seconds after washing and your produce is ready to eat. Every ingredient is food-safe, biodegradable, and leaves no aftertaste.

No. NŌA is unscented on produce once rinsed. If anything, washed fruit tastes a little cleaner. You’re no longer tasting the wax layer.

Purified water, potassium cocoate (coconut-oil soap), sodium citrate, citric acid, ascorbic acid, xanthan gum, glycerin, and bergamot essential oil. The naturally-occurring limonene, linalool, and geraniol are declared per EU rules. Full INCI list on the Research Library.

The bergamot oil is certified organic. The formulation overall is not organic-certified because no EU body certifies wash products yet. We’re working with ECOCERT on that. Every ingredient meets or exceeds organic-food standards.

Yes and yes. 100% plant-based ingredients. Never tested on animals, and no animal-derived inputs anywhere in the supply chain.

Spray is for everyday, single-item use: an apple before lunch, a few berries at breakfast. Concentrate is for batch washing. Fill your sink with water and one capful, soak and rub your produce, rinse. 2 to 3 minutes and your whole weekly haul is done. Most households keep both.

Use the Concentrate. Fill a bowl with cool water, add half a capful, submerge the greens for 20 to 30 seconds, swish gently, then rinse and spin dry. Don’t spray leafy greens directly as delicate leaves bruise.

NŌA is formulated for fruit and vegetables. For meat and fish, food-safety authorities recommend cooking to the right internal temperature rather than surface washing. Eggs should be wiped dry because washing removes their natural protective layer.

The 500ml Spray gives around 200 sprays, enough for about 6 to 8 weeks of daily use for a household of two. The 500ml Concentrate makes around 50 full sink washes, which lasts 3 to 5 months for most families.

Yes. Every ingredient is food-safe and biodegradable, with no synthetic preservatives, fragrances, dyes, or sulfates. As with any household product, store it out of reach of small children.

Yes on produce, which you rinse after washing anyway. Don’t spray it directly on pets as essential oils including bergamot can irritate cat skin and airways. Keep the bottle capped when not in use.

The three terpenes declared on the bottle (limonene, linalool, geraniol) are naturally present in bergamot oil at <0.1% and listed for EU allergen transparency. If you have a known citrus sensitivity, patch-test before daily use.

Yes. Both bottles are 100% post-consumer recycled HDPE and 100% recyclable. The spray trigger is standard PP. Separate it from the bottle before recycling. Labels are paper-based with food-safe ink.
